The new smooth flow technology is now complete and tested, this upgrade to our systems allows for a very smooth and precise delivery of the hydrogen to the engine under varying engine loads and conditions. The previous system used a hydrogen injector to deliver the hydrogen by controlling the “PWM” pulse width modulation which under very precise emission analysis showed a choppy graph line on the testing graphs. Under closer inspection this turned out to be the injector pules that were being picked up by the testing equipment. Although the hydrogen injectors did perform there job relatively well, they still were not the long term solution that is needed. Knowing there is a much more superior way to deliver the hydrogen to the engine, we went into developing the new valve, control board, and software to integrate into the hydrogen system.
We developed our own valve that did not use pulses to control the flow, the new valve utilizes a linear function to ramp up and down the flow of hydrogen to the engine eliminating the chop, or pulses found in injectors. the new valve gives us a smooth graph line which translates to a smoother and more precise detonation factor in the engine, upping the overall performance and efficiency outcome.
The new injector also has a unlimited life cycle, unlike the injector which has a limited life span in these applications which in turn reduces/ eliminates the maintenance costs and down time associated with injectors.
